Every Other Saturday Caregiver

Community Horizons is eagerly seeking a caregiver who can spend time with a wonderful pair of brothers, every other Saturday from 8 am-2 pm. This is not your typical caregiving position! You can expect to be active and in the community during every shift!

This position involves providing helpful reminders such as brushing teeth, picking out clothing for the day, and completing simple housework, and then you'll be on to the adventures of the day.

The wage for this position is $17/hour.

Some examples of activities are:

• Bowling
• Shopping
• Eating out
• Indoor and outdoor farmers market
• Library

Some must haves:

• Have a current resume.
• Be 18 years or older.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Pass a caregiver background check.
• Be positive, upbeat, compassionate, and trustworthy.
• Prior experience with adults with developmental disabilities is required.

Community Horizons offers support for individuals enrolled in self-directed programs through Managed Care Organizations or IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) throughout Wisconsin. Self-direction gives program participants the choice over who provides services and how they receive them. Community Horizons is not the employer on record, members make all hiring decisions with the involvement of a third-party fiscal agent responsible for payroll.
