Events Marketing Intern

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Summer Events and Marketing Intern to join our team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in event coordination, marketing strategies, social media management, and content creation. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating engaging content, implementing marketing initiatives, and contributing to successful event planning.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events
• Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote events and increase attendance.
• Create compelling content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
• Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to inquiries and comments in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative campaigns and initiatives that align with organizational goals.
• Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and digital advertisements.
• Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry, scheduling, and other tasks related to event planning and marketing activities.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft engaging content for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and a demonstrated understanding of social media trends and best practices.
• Creative thinking and a passion for developing innovative marketing strategies.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Previous experience in event planning, marketing, or social media management is a plus, but not required.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
