Event Specialist (NextGen)
Standard Hours - 29 hours per week. Schedule to be determined. Evening and weekend hours may be required.
For any Brookwood Church position, the candidate must be, or be willing to become a member of Brookwood Church.

Event Specialist Job Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Executive Administrative Manager regarding assigned NextGen events.
- Logistics:
- Management of event logistics, to include:
- Food
- Transportation
- Set up/tear down
- Purchasing
- Vendor Selection and management of their services
- Event location selection
- Promotional plan and material distribution
- Number of leaders needed
- Volunteer Coordination at the event
- Event Planning:
- Meet with EAM and/or NextGen staff to plan event
- Create Blueprint form for each event and attend Blueprint meetings
- Process development for each event, as needed
- Follow procedures for any additional items/issues having to do with the event
- Maintain budget
- Process invoices and expenses
- Process funds requests
- Stay within budget allotments
- Registration:
- Create and manage the registration process for each event
- Track attendance at events
- Registration Reporting
- Recruiting:
- Train leaders for their responsibilities at event
- Prepare and maintain files on each event outlining a process for the event and any suggestions for improvement
- Any additional duties as assigned
