Job Summary
This position is responsible for event sales and services for the Benton County Fairgrounds. Assist with County Fair planning and develop sponsorship relations. This position is also responsible for ensuring continued revenue generation through event sales, upsells, sponsorships etc. This position requires strong customer service skills.

This position has the opportunity to provide flexibility to work as a hybrid (combination of remote and on-site) for up to two days a week as long as it does not interfere with the ability to build strong working relationships and attend required on-site meetings. The initial training period may require a period of on-site presence to gain understanding of job expectation and responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications
The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
- Associate's degree OR two-year technical certification in related area, AND
- 2 years experience in Event Planning, Administrative/Office Support, Customer Service, or closely related field .
- Valid Oregon driver's license and may require use of a personal vehicle.
- Scheduling flexibility to work during the annual Benton County Fair & Rodeo (beginning of July through mid-August)
- Experience with fairgrounds operations preferred.
- 4-H functions and EventPro rental software experience preferred.
