Summary
Event Sales Coordinators are more than just good taskmasters, organizers and salespeople—they’re talented experience-makers. They work the phones (and their emails and social media) relentlessly to close inquiries and coordinate events with our Sales & Operations Team to ensure our guests’ events are executed with world-class precision ensuring flawless execution and superior guest experiences!
Essential Functions

- Sell, manage and cultivate SPiN Membership inquires—and transform those inquiries into annual memberships and member events.
- Respond to all Child/Teen Birthday Party inquiries as well as social-events as required—and transform those inquiries into booked events.
- A great communicator and can speak with ease to the features and benefits of SPIN’s distinctive properties, membership and event packages.
- Support Monthly Team Sales Goals to meet them.
- Become an expert with our reservation systems and CRM to effectively manage the database for all public and private event reservations
- Go beyond being a good Sales Coordinator & salesperson to become an experience- maker extraordinaire — work with clients to plan and coordinate events down to the last detail.
- Liaison with our Sales & Operations Team to ensure that the events you book and support are the kind of world-class experiences that our guests expect and our company strives to provide and ensure accuracy of all event BEO’s (Banquet Event Orders) and floor plans.
- You understand the unique needs of all kind of events—from member events, private parties and corporate events to fundraisers, kids’ parties, and more.
- You diligently tend to and cultivate your client relationships both during the planning process and beyond for repeat business.
- Taskmaster extraordinaire on special projects and assignments given by your Director of Sales and/or General Manager.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience within the Sales & Hospitality industry
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Hospitality) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An ability to own and resolve problems.
- Attention to details.
- Hospitality experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and work processing applications.
- Experience in working with booking software platforms such as Seven Rooms, Tripleseat, Salesforce, Delphi - a BONUS but not required.
