Event Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Manager to join our team. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various events. This role requires strong organizational skills, market knowledge, and the ability to manage contracts and budgets effectively. Duties: - Plan and execute a wide range of events, including conferences, trade shows, weddings, corporate events, and fundraisers - Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and objectives - Develop event concepts and themes that align with client preferences - Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, including caterers, decorators, and audiovisual technicians - Manage event budgets and ensure all expenses are within the allocated budget - Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, setup, and breakdown - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events - Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and drive attendance - Provide on-site event management to ensure smooth operations during the event - Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement Requirements: - Proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar role - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively - In-depth knowledge of the local market and industry trends - Experience in contract negotiation and management - Proficient in time management to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously - Familiarity with fundraising strategies for nonprofit events is a plus - Budgeting experience to manage event expenses within allocated funds - Excellent hospitality skills to provide exceptional customer service to clients and attendees - Knowledge of hotel operations for accommodation arrangements If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for creating memorable events, we would love to hear from you. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
