Job Overview

We are looking to hire an Event Florist who can handle the customer service of finalizing event/wedding details with clients (i.e Honeybook) and assist with event/wedding set ups, including the transportation of products to and from events. Responsibilities

· Confer with clients regarding price and type of arrangement desired and the date, time, and place of delivery;

· Select flora and foliage for arrangements, working with numerous combinations to synthesize and develop new creations;

· Deliver arrangements to customers and manage employees responsible for deliveries;

· Plan arrangement according to client's requirements, using knowledge of design and properties of materials, or select appropriate standard design pattern;

· Coordinate with team to lead event/wedding onsite set up/tear down.

Qualifications

· Must have previous floristry experience including work on weddings, funerals, and other events as well as prior experience with client intake (creating mood boards, pricing for select floral arrangements, etc.);

· Must be a strong leader and work well independently;

· Must be very professional;

· Must be a good team player;

· Must be reliable and responsible;

· Must be task oriented;

· Must be very positive and have a great attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Floral design: 3 years (Required)
• Management: 3 years (Required)
