Job Description
The event coordinator will serve as the lead person for special events at Silver Fork Lodge, both in terms of communicating with clients leading up to events, but also during events serving as a liaison between clients, the kitchen, and our staff.
REQUIREMENTS
- -Handles communication with potential and existing clients (e-mail & phone)
- -Conducts tours of the event spaces with potential clients
- -Helps clients plan their events with menus, layout, timelines, etc.
- -Connects clients with vendors (photographers, DJ's, florists, bakers)
- -Ensures event documents are accurate and up to date
- -Assists and leads staff in setting up and executing events
- -During off-season, (November-May) you will be in a hybrid floor manager/administrative role
- -During wedding season (June-October), will be working primarily evening shifts, and will be dictated by scheduled events
- -Excellent written and verbal communication
- -Creative problem solving and works well under pressure
- -Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- -At least 1 year working as an event coordinator
- -Compensation will also include commission on sales plus tips
