Job Description
We are seeking an Event Assistant Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the events and operations.
The Picnic Collective is a luxury picnic and event planning service. As the first luxury picnic company in Southern California, we create beautiful direct-to-consumer picnics as well as full service corporate events. Working at The Picnic Collective provides an experience that the events industry has to offer- working directly with clients, the creative process, and seeing the event come to life!
Responsibilities:
- Event planning, and operating event team functions.
- Communicate with clients to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Pull inventory, craft detail elements for events that are assigned to your team. Including but not limited to- make floral arrangements, make balloon garlands and make creative backdrops.
- Day-of, on-site coordination and set up
- Employee Management
- Opening/Closing
- Working within a budget to accomplish work in a timely manner
- All other duties as determined by management
- Any and all duties needed for successful operation of the business
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in events, event planning, and event operations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to motivate and coach great team performance
- Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs repetitively
