Gardenia Weddings is a full service wedding planning company, servicing Arizona and Texas. We create visually stunning and logistically seamless wedding days while also celebrating uniqueness and diversity. We embrace non traditional wedding plans and truly believe in celebrating love in every form it comes in.

Who You Are

You will thrive in this position if you are fascinated with the intricacies of event planning and thrive on detailed task lists. Even though you may not have extensive experience in the event industry, you have experience in the hospitality industry and are excited for the opportunity of ongoing training to continuously increase your knowledge and confidence. This position is perfect for you if you are seeking an entry level role in a hybrid setting that allows you control over your work schedule. If you are known as the organized one in your friend group who has a color coded calendar and creates itineraries for trips, we encourage you to apply!

What You'll Do

• Create presentations for client meetings.
• Create virtual layouts of the venue space and digital renderings of the design vision.
• Communicate with vendors, updating invoices, scheduling meetings, and confirming event details.
• Shadow client meetings, taking notes and updating tasks lists.
• Oversee wedding day set up and breakdown.
• Provide input on wedding design plans.
• Manage vision boards for clients.

Requirements

• Reliable source of transportation.
• Weekend availability during wedding season.
• Access to computer and internet.
• Knowledge of Canva.
• Hospitality experience (hotels, restaurants, etc.).
• Ability to work on your feet for up to 10 hours during wedding day shifts.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week

Schedule:

• Weekends as needed
