SalaryWe are looking for a bakery Shift Leader to oversee operations and workers during scheduled shifts. Shift Leader responsibilities include managing cash, overseeing quality of cookies and customer interactions. Must be willing to work 2 Saturdays and 2 Fridays until midnight a month. If you’re a natural leader with the ability to learn quickly on the job, we would love to hear from you! No bakery experience needed; we offer Paid Training for experienced Shift Leads.
Responsibilities
- Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts
- Oversee preparation of dough and cookie quality
- Watch over deliveries and drivers to ensure safety and quick deliveries
- Train and coach new employees
- Clean and close the store in an efficient and quick manner with your team
- Check cash drawers and prepare bank deposits
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed
- Address customer and employee complaints
- Resolve conflicts between workers
- Foster and maintain a positive work environment
Skills
- Proven experience as a Shift Leader or relevant managerial role
- Knowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulations
- Commitment to excellent service
- Working well within a team
- Leadership skills and ability to make decisions fast
- Strong problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to stand for long periods
- High school diploma is preferred
