All about the role:
Inthis role you will be reporting to the Tooling Supervisor for ElectroluxMajor Appliances NA. You will be based in Springfield, TN and this role isonsite.  Weare seeking a skilled and experienced Machinist/Toolmaker to join our team. Inthis role, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of precisionmachines, including CNC, EDM, Lathe, Milling Machine, Band Saw, and Shear. Theideal candidate will possess strong analytical thinking, conceptual, andorganizational abilities, along with excellent communication skills tocollaborate with engineers, production personnel, and other team members.

What you'll do:

• Independently set up and operate precision machines under limited supervision, including CNC, EDM, Lathe, Milling Machine, Band Saw, and Shear
• Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to resolve machining or assembly problems
• Craft engineered prototype parts and precision tools such as jigs, molds, and dies
• Utilize computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines, requiring a solid background in various technical and IT processes
• Support lean (EMS/EPS) plan and activities within the maintenance area
• Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair dies/molds
• Maintain continuous efforts to minimize scrap, rework, and control costs of expendables and products

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience in a Machinist/Toolmaker role
• Proficient in Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Basic knowledge and experience of principles, procedures, work routines, and skills in the related field of work.
