Your role at Baxter
Evaluation Technicians contribute to our mission of saving and sustaining lives by performing electronic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance evaluations of electro-mechanical in-home dialysis machines and infusion pumps.
In this role, you will lead all aspects of the testing, repairs and perform troubleshooting of medical devices to assignable cause using instruments such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, hipot tester, pressure gauges.
Our techs enforce all environmental, health and safety SOP's, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements. We maintain a mentality that all accidents can be prevented and works pro-actively to achieve zero harm in the workplace.

To that end, this position has a base hourly pay of $19.85 + a shift differential.

Your role at Baxter

What you'll be doing:
- Maintaining a continuous flow of the servicing line.
- Performing basic statistical analysis from device history logs, read diagrams and drawings and make repair recommendations.
- Be able to write clear and concise technical evaluation summaries resulting from troubleshooting analysis.
- May train employees on an as needed basis.
- Basic math skills required.
What you'll bring:
- Associates degree (or equivalent technical certification) and at least 1 year of experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical devices required. OR High School diploma or GED required; and 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical devices is required.
- Proficient computer skills required to enter data, navigate, and routinely toggle between various applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, and company software programs in the area of expertise are required
- Ability to work independently to effectively determine root cause of failure.
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas is required.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time with frequent walking, stooping, reaching, grasping and using fine & gross motor manipulation.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs on a routine basis and occasionally up to 41lbs.
