Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY:

Evaluation Assistants are responsible to assist doctors in conducting medical-legal examinations. Other duties include securing medical records, maintaining medical supplies inventory, and taking measurements and vitals during the examination process. Applicants must display good decision-making skills and communicate effectively. Must be friendly and professional.

Core responsibilities include:

• Review all charts, appointment times, and accuracy of location for upcoming exams.
• Communicate with the office as patients attend, and anything that needs to be relayed to office staff.
• Process requests for diagnostics.
• Ensure all examination documentation and forms are completely and correctly filled out by both the doctor and examinee.
• Be familiar with all examination equipment and procedures (blood pressure, measurements, etc.).

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

§ Be available to respond to all communications (email, text, phone calls) within one business day.

§ Be responsible for the safe-keeping and care of assigned examination equipment.

§ Professional dress is required, and medical scrubs will be issued.

Preferred Skills:

• Possess knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, disease processes, signs and symptoms, medications, and laboratory values.

Preferred Experience:

Medical Assistant Certificate preferred.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
