SUMMARY Deliver training for the Retail organization. Will deliver product and service, policy and procedure as well as systems training. Learning Specialists will also deliver training in their area of specialty, service or sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitate training for the Retail organization Implement additions, updates and changes to the Retail curriculum for new hire and new product, service/sales training for all lines of business including ILT, WBT and synchronous formats Supervise new hires in class and on the phones, including coaching, monitoring knowledge level, and application of subject matter, etc. Provide feedback to trainees and their managers throughout the program Work with management to identify performance gaps and help identify and developing solutions (including training and other solutions) to improve individual and team performance. Develop training and job aids as needed for businesses supported Coordinate logistics of training to include training room, passwords, materials and supplies, etc.
Coordinate with Telecom, Human Resources, MAC and Customer Service to identify and support New Hire Training administrative needs Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience Series 7/63 or 66 licenses within 90 days of hire 1-2 years of stand-up training experience or relevant training experience 2 years frontline sales or service experience Travel required Preferred Train the trainer course (AMA, Langevin, etc) preferred Proficient user of: Powerpoint Excel Web based Conferencing applications Windows Messenger features Training delivery and group facilitation skills Ability to adapt and present new curriculum to achieve desired learning objectives Adult learning principles Needs based selling or Service principles depending on area of specialty Sales process management/Service management Financial services product knowledge Verbal and written communication Morgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence.
