International Logic Systems, Inc. (ILS) is a government contractor located in Washington, DC area. A CMMI Level (3), ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 27001 organization, ILS provides integrated services and flexible solutions to federal agencies and private institutions. ILS is looking for a dedicated ETL Developer with experience in both development and analysis using Oracle Application Server (OAS) to support a large-scale banking/financial project.
Responsibilities- Understand database design, programming concepts, data modeling, and framework management
- Design, develop, and test advanced complex ETL/ELT solutions
- Enhance ELT/ELT process to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
- Identify and reuse of ETL components and services to avoid duplicative implementations.
- Automate a robust data loading processes with exception handling and notification.
- Knowledge on ODI Architecture and development in medium to large scale data warehouse environments
- Support the project team throughout the design, development, and testing process.
- Communicate ideas to both technical and non-technical people in all levels of the organization.
- Experience in Performance tuning of ODI interface/mapping
- Strong knowledge on SQL and analytical skills
- Strong Hands-on knowledge on SQL performance tuning
- Sound knowledge on Data warehousing principles and Problem solving
- Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, manpower, logistics, and contracts.
- Develop block diagrams and logic flow charts.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
Required Skills:
- Oracle database
- Logical/physical data modeling
- Enterprise Data Warehouse Reports and Dashboard (OAS/OBIEE+)
- ETL/ELT tools like ODI, Informatica, any reporting tools (Tableau, BI Publisher, Cognos, BOBJ), and Master Data Management (MDM), SQL and PL/SQL.

Additional Skills:
- Develop and maintain existing RPD and OAS Reports
- Familiarity with dashboard tools Power BI and OAS DV (Data visualization)
- Understanding of Data Modeling concepts and techniques on OLTP and Data warehouse
