Because the work scope of this particular position is pretty specific, it’s important that we find someone who has an understanding of html code/syntax. Experience with MathML and/or Tex code would be helpful, but not required. Also, strong editing skills and attention to details will be key. The most common day-to-day tasks will include converting html file to original pdf, creating image files for charts and graphs, ensuring mathematical equations and greek symbols convert properly, making changes to MathML code if necessary, and making changes to html if necessary. We’re not looking for any specific minimum years of experience or any particular education.
For the above work, the ITS section is interested in a candidate who has experience with HTML, and Tex and/or MathML, Adobe Photoshop, and possibly Dreamweaver (or another program to edit HTML).
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
