Flexible Hourly Positions Available in River North, Chicago, Illinois

Job Description

• Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy/counseling for outpatient clientele via telehealth or in-person (hybrid model preferred)
• Assess clients’ treatment needs using biopsychosocial assessments or related (via our EHR platform)
• Maintain clients’ records by completing progress notes and other forms of documentation in a timely manner
• Develop and monitor treatment plans and progress

• Coordinate care, arrange resources, and provide other case management services if needed

• Communicate with clients electronically to coordinate scheduling and/or other correspondence in a timely manner
• Collaborate directly with our office administrator to ensure efficient and effective client care

Opportunities for Additional Clinical Hours

• Create your own outpatient group therapy offerings (topics of your choosing) with the support of the organization
• Facilitate outpatient group therapy offerings utilizing our existing curriculums (we have established experiential/psychodynamic and DBT curriculums available within the organization!)
• Become more involved with our IOP offerings, facilitating group therapy services on a regular or as-needed basis

Qualifications for Employment

• Active license to provide mental health treatment in the state of Illinois (required)
• Previously credentialed/paneled with commercial insurers such as BCBS, United/Optum, Aetna, Cigna, etc. (preferred, not required)
• Certified alcohol and other drug counseling (CADC) credential OR pertinent SUD experience (preferred, not required)
• Highly-organized, self-motivated, collaborative, curious, and proactive
• Responsive to a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working with Google Suite applications, Microsoft Excel, electronic health record keeping system (EHR - we use Kipu), Zoom and/or other HIPAA-compliant phone/video call software
• Willing or interested in providing services in-office for some or all sessions - the therapist may provide virtual therapy from the office, but we would like to hire someone who would like to be present at the office on a semi-regular basis.

• If hired, preliminary-licensed applicants may be asked to procure their own board-approved supervisor outside of the agency (may have opportunity for internal options, can discuss during interview).
