Job Description
Job Title: Estimator/Project Manager for Excavation, Site Work, and Utility Contractor
Responsibilities:
- Estimate complete site work, earthwork, and utility projects for jobs ranging from $500,000 to $5,000,000+
- Manage the submittal process
- Coordinate the purchase of materials
- Manage the permitting process
- Track job progress
- Attend site meetings
- Coordinate and maintain communication with general contractors
- Prepare change orders
- Ensure accurate and timely billing
Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of contracts and scope of work
- Ability to read blueprints and plans
- Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in project management/ estimating
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn new software as needed
- Strong organizational skills necessary to efficiently coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
Compensation:
- Salary commensurate with experience
- Range $60,000-$100,000
