Job Description
Responsibilities:
-Answer Customers Calls and Inquires about specific project/requests
-This position Involves Residential and Commercial Projects.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Collaborate with Project Managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
- Create and maintain a database of historical cost data for future reference
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather information and assess project requirements
- Prepare bid packages and submit proposals to clients within specified deadlines
- Participate in negotiations with clients and subcontractors to secure contracts
Skills:
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
- Familiarity with estimating software and tools
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
