The Role
Based in Los Angeles, Shani Darden is one of the top estheticians in the U.S. with clients including many of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities. Shani Darden opened her flagship studio in 2019, a private oasis where clients could truly relax. Best known for her glow-inducing facials, Shani customizes each using a blend of clinical-grade technology with expert-picked formulas to give skin exactly what it needs in that moment with little downtime. In 2013 she launched Shani Darden Skin Care with her first product, Retinol Reform, which quickly became a cult classic. In 2018, Shani expanded her line with a focus on easy, efficacious products that deliver real results. Shani Darden Skin Care products are currently sold on shanidarden.com and SEPHORA across North America and select retailers Internationally. We are committed to providing the best experience to each of our studio clients, valuing privacy, discretion and the highest standards of service. We are currently looking for a licensed senior esthetician with a passion to help each client and be part of a high-growth beauty business.
What You'll Do
- Work in studio providing guests personalized skin care experiences
- Customize each 60-to-90-minute treatment with clinical-grade technology and products to give client’s skin exactly what it needs
- Ability to explain studio services and make product recommendations to clients
- Keep your space clean, neat and orderly in between appointments
- Provide clients with 15-minute virtual consultations as needed

Education & Skills
- California State Esthetician License from Department Consumer Affairs (DCA)
- 3-5 minimum Esthetics experience
- Up to date knowledge of today's relevant beauty treatments, trends, and clinical skincare ingredients
- Advanced training clinical skin care, LED therapy, Vibration therapy and Microcurrent is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform services wearing PPE (face mask, face shield)
- Ability to bend the body down/stand/sit for sustained periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive movements of the wrists, hands, and fingers
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Perform daily studio maintenance tasks to include re-merchandising, and light cleaning
