Meaningful Work From Day One:
Provide IT Service Management development expertise across Brown Forman IT and provide support and oversight in all aspects of the Enterprise Service Management environments including design, development, architecture, administration, implementation, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and security.
What You Can Expect:
  • Deliver administration and management of many of the in-house supported technology applications and solutions. Including but not limited to ITSM tool management, ITAM tool management, Xtraction reporting system, Discovery platforms, Automation for ITSM, and ITAM.
  • Designs and develops solutions that address business needs and opportunities by working with business and IT personnel.
    • proposes changes that would make the ESM environments a more effective solution.
    • gathers requirements
    • creates custom technical design documents
    • performs unit and system testing
    • implements plans for small to complex projects
  • Development and management of ESM integrations and APIs.
  • Responsible for IT Service Management, Asset Management, and acts as a liaison for technology solutions based outside of Brown-Forman.
  • Assist with the maturity of the ITSM and ITAM programs.

SUPPORT FUNCTIONS
  • Technical Impact Analysis as it relates to the Brown-Forman IT ESM.
  • Designs, configures, and implements process improvements for innovation and enhancements.
  • Coordinates and creates documentation and procedures as they relate to the Brown-Forman IT ESM team.
  • Participates in technology projects to ensure accurate training and turnover of supported technology.
  • Coordinates quality assurance testing for different IT teams as it relates to changes that would impact the Brown-Forman ESM systems.
  • Stays abreast of current ITSM solutions, development concepts, best practices, and procedures by attending trainings, participating in professional associations, and the like
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-solving related to the ESM applications and systems.

ADMINISTRATION
  • Develops, configures, and maintains ITSM platform: installation, upgrades, configuration changes, and debugging issues.
  • Participates in planning and execution of tasks related to ITSM and ITAM based initiatives which may include upgraded versions of current systems, third-party solutions, and integrations with additional enterprise systems.
  • Works with vendors to resolve support issues with technology hosted at their locations (Cloud).

What You Bring to the Table:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field and/or equivalent combination of formal education and experience or a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on related technology experience.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming
  • Experience with ITSM/ITAM program or application (i.e., Ivanti or Service Now)
  • ITIL Foundations Certification or ability to obtain it within 12 months of employment.

  • Technical ITSM/ITAM expertise regarding API interfaces (SOAP/REST), data interchanges (JSON/XML), and programming languages (SQL/Powershell/VBS)
