Texas Excel Title is seeking an Escrow Officer or an experienced Escrow Assistant ready to run a desk. We are looking for someone dynamic and customer service driven who is a team-player and wants to grow with a small company. Small book of business preferred with the ability to grow. Must have the ability to seamlessly handle residential and/or commercial files from beginning to end. Salary negotiable.
The Escrow Officer Is Responsible For:
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the principles of title and escrow process and procedures.
- Escrow Officer in closing transactions.
- Preparing CD’s/HUD’s, prepping and completing all necessary paperwork/closing documents necessary for the transaction.
- Final review of all closing packages and the transaction.
- Work closely with clients, lenders and vendors to obtain clear title and approval to close transactions in a timely and error-free manner.
- Collaborate with title department to resolve title issues such as legal descriptions, easements, lot splits, vesting, all tax liens, abstracts of judgments, bankruptcies, boundary disputes, encroachments, list pendants, etcetera.
- Ensure all payoffs, taxes, and surveys are updated and collected.
- Address all inquiries from clients, sellers, buyers, agents in a timely manner.
- Attend and participate in weekly team meetings.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Technical and confident knowledge of the closing process is required.
