Louisville Title Agency is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Escrow Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing the escrow process for residential real estate transactions from order entry up to the closing. The Escrow Officer coordinates with all parties involved in the transaction, prepares all necessary documentation, and ensures the transaction is correctly prepared for closing.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the escrow process from beginning to end, including coordinating with all parties involved in the transaction (buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, etc.) to ensure a smooth closing process.
- Communicates effectively and provides excellent customer service to all parties involved in the transaction.
- Reviews Title Commitment for closing and clear outstanding issues by contacting necessary parties.
- Collects and maintains all necessary documentation and funds for the transaction, including purchase agreements, deeds, title reports, HOA fees and closing statements.
- Sends detailed closing instructions to all parties via Close Simple (Settlement statement/HUD; documentation needed for closing)
- Follows procedure guidelines to ensure escrow process is consistent, accurate and compliant with all laws and regulations.
- Second to answer phones and acts as a back-up to the receptionist.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to project confidence and competence, even in challenging situations

- Knowledge of escrow and title industry practices and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and escrow software applications including RamQuest and Close Simple
- Familiarity with real estate documents and terminology
- Strong mathematical and financial skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
