Job Description
We have an immediate need for an ERISA Non-Discrimination Consultant for a remote position with flexible hours.
The pay range is $35 - $42/hr.
40 hours/week but shift can be flexible.
Duties include:
The ERISA Consultant is responsible for the completion of non-discrimination testing (ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy), execution of test cure strategies and delivery of signature ready Form 5500s for clients. The ERISA Consultant will collaborate with relationship managers and clients on complex situations such as mergers, divestitures, collectively bargained plans, failed non-discrimination testing, etc. In addition, the ERISA Consultant will support new business, update team procedures, and mentor less experienced team members.
Complete non-discrimination testing and Form 5500 preparation for complex plans within prescribed regulatory deadlines. Provide consultation and assistance to relationship managers and clients regarding data inconsistencies or gaps, test results, hypothetical plan design change implications, and projected testing results. Manage the preparation of audit packages as needed in support of the Form 5500 filing process. Work with client and client auditors to resolve inquiries regarding Form 5500 reporting requirements.
Facilitate testing/reporting strategy and Omni/ASC system requirements for complex scenarios. Consult with new business, relationship managers and clients in the development of text files and other programming needs.
Perform quality review of testing/reporting prepared by other team members and serve as technical expert to less experienced team members. Validate methodology, data and plan level parameters to ensure accurate testing/reporting for all clients.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree In Business Administration or related work experience in ERISA compliance or plan administration setting.
5-7 years industry experience, with 3-5 years experience in preparing Form 5500s and non-discrimination testing.
Working knowledge of current recordkeeping system including text file and transaction capabilities is desirable. Knowledge of current software used by the department is also preferred.
Industry designation preferred (SPARK, NIPA, ASPPA, CEBS)
