Job Summary:
The eRA Data Specialist is responsible for managing data from shared drives into Cayuse software program. This position also provides guidance, support, and assistance to ORSSP staff regarding the Cayuse implementation data.
Major Responsibilities / Duties / Critical Tasks:
• Ensures all data/documents in current systems (shared drive for health science center and main campuses) are uploaded into Cayuse.
• Collect, clean, combine and analyze research related data from multiple sources.
• Maintain and recommend data standardization processes.
• Assist with needed report generation from Cayuse.
• Provide support for Cayuse project manager.
• Assures quality and validity of data, assists in developing training documentation.
• Streamline internal process to ensure data is available, reliable, consistent, accessible, secure, and timely to support the mission and activities of the University.
• Assists with training for Cayuse system, as needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

• Utilize multiple systems for work including PeopleSoft, Access, Excel, and Cayuse.
• Strong numerical proficiency, good organizational and problem-solving skills, and excellent use of logic.
• Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organizational and priority setting skills.

Qualifications
Required Education / Experience:
• Prior research administration experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience in the relevant field.
