The EQS Parts Warehouse Lead is responsible for assisting Parts Management in all areas of parts warehousing operations by providing leadership and training to the team to ensure all set processes are being followed and that expected goals are achieved. The EQS Parts Warehouse Lead will be responsible for the accuracy of floor inventory and order fulfillment as well as ensuring the quality of parts received and shipped meet specified standards. The position will lead activities pertaining to inventory control and reconciliation processes, such as cycle counting and inventory counting.
- Leads and directs the daily activities of warehouse teammates to ensure safe and successful completion
- Review inbound and outbound shipments to ensure quality of products meets set standards
- Maintain documentation necessary to ensure consistent inventory controls are followed
- Perform inventory control tasks, such as cycle counting and full counts, to ensure inventory accuracy
- Review processes being performed, identify areas of opportunities, and make recommendations for process improvements
- Evaluate teammates’ performances and provide coaching towards continuous improvement
- Maintain proper organization and cleanliness of warehouse area
- Extensive knowledge of warehousing and inventory processes and systems (SAP Experience Preferred)
- Intermediate computer skills to include experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Internet navigation
- Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and delegate tasks to others
- Intentional self-starter who takes initiative and proactively seeks out value-added opportunities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Basic decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Power Industrial Truck (PIT) experience
- Must be able to repeatedly pull, push, and carry heavy loads
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
- Must be able to work on feet for at least 8 hours
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 up to 3 years work experience
