Wilson-Finley Company is looking for a Heavy Equipment Shop Supervisor to join our team. The Heavy Equipment Shop Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the shop is running smoothly and that all the necessary paperwork is completed. This person will be responsible for ensuring that the shop meets company standards and that quality of work is being delivered. The Heavy Equipment Shop Supervisor will oversee the replacement of excavator, bulldozer or front end loader undercarriage parts and track systems. Wilson-Finley Company is a family owned and operated business for over 60 years.
Responsibilities
Ensure that all required paperwork is completed and that all employees are up to date on their work.
- Ensure that the Heavy Equipment shop meets company standards for quality of work.
- Ensure that Heavy Equipment repairs are promptly and correctly serviced in timely fashion with exceptional customer service.
- Ensure that shop technicians are following instructions and making sure they are working properly with safety rules in mind.
- Ensure that the Heavy Equipment shop is well-stocked, including ensuring that employees are making sure they are making sure they are making sure they are following all safety procedures when working in confined spaces.
- Ensure that the shop is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Report any safety issues to management immediately.
- Report any issues with product quality to management immediately.
- Work closely with production team to ensure that all production tasks are being completed as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Experience:
Knowledge of heavy construction equipment specifically crawler equipment.
- Knowledge of how to remove & replace wear parts on crawler loaders, excavators and bulldozers.
- Ability to learn/maintain repair equipment.
- Ability to perform tasks while working in a non-air conditioned environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with little supervision (i.e., learn quickly and apply knowledge in different situations)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.27 - $30.44 per hour
