Leer South is looking for a Equipment Operator to join our successful team in Philippi, West Virginia.
Job Title:Equipment Operator
Job Location: Leer South Mining Complex (Philippi, WV)
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Operating at a minimum of three pieces of heavy equipment and support equipment on a
16G grader, 988H loader, and vibrating roller.
- Must be involved with our "STEEL" safety program by performing "Rivets" (observations) on
- Dozer operation will include reclamation of slopes and running grade on fill
- Fuel, lube, and perform routine maintenance checks on a variety of mining equipment.
- Assist with moving light plants and slurry lines.
- Clean equipment as necessary.
- All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a work ethic that allows him/her to demonstrate his/her ability daily with minimal
- Must have excellent interpersonal/communication skills and an ability to work with others in
- Must be willing to work in adverse conditions including, but not limited to, extreme heat,
- Must demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
