Equipment Maintenance Technician
EMS Management, an Industrial Services Company, is searching for a passionate and safety-driven individual to work alongside our Equipment Maintenance lead. In this role you will performing routine and preventative repairs as well as miscellaneous duties supporting the sites.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute routine maintenance on equipment such as air compressors, boilers, diesel engines, pressure washers, diaphragm pumps.
- Inspect, lubricate, and fine-tune equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, pinpointing the root cause of issues.
- Repair or replace faulty components, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
- Diagnose and rectify equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Analyze equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
- Identify recurring problems and devise preventive maintenance plans.
- Conduct regular safety inspections on equipment and promptly report safety concerns.
- Collaborate closely with management to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Train other team members in troubleshooting and proper use of equipment.
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
- Operate mobile equipment.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with a team.
- Proficient in using computer software and documentation tools.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems.
- Must be able to lift and maneuver moderately heavy objects.
- Light Electrical Experience.
- Valid Texas driver’s license.
- Travel might be required based on business needs.
Experience
- High school diploma
- 2 years of proven experience as an Equipment Maintenance Technician.
- Exposure to various skilled trades (i.e., mechanical, electrical, welding, etc.)
Work Environment
- Frequent bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
