Shift: 2nd Shift Mon-Friday 2:00- 10:30 p.m.
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
Job Expectations:
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
Knowledge of general warehouse practices
Strong communication skills
Ability to work with hands in mechanically oriented situations
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, as well as interpret pencil sketches and diagrams
Knowledge of OSHA and other legal requirements
Equipment Knowledge:
Knowledge of various types of equipment in maintenance trades
Knowledge of conveyors, motors and dc drives
Knowledge of basic IT work (Tablets, scanners, and printers troubleshooting)
Experience Requirements:
Generally requires a minimum of five (5) years of maintenance mechanic or related experience.
Education Requirements:
An Associate's Degree in Mechanicalor related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
Judgment/Reasoning Ability: Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy. Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. The Team Member is frequently required to stand, walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers, bend, stoop and reach with hands and arms. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to store materials throughout the work day. The Team Member may occasionally lift or move materials and products up to 25 pounds. Proper lifting techniques required. Work Environment: The noise in the work environment is usually moderate. Other factors are:
Hectic, fast-paced, with multi-level distractions

Warehouse environment may be required to wear safety equipment
