Located on the waterfront of SF Bay, Bay Machine & Fabrication provides all shop services for Bay Ship & Yacht Co., the Bay's largest shipyard, servicing tugs, barges, ferries, pilot boats, yachts, the Navy, US Coast Guard and many other commercial and military customers. BMF also services a variety of commercial and industrial customers, including elevator repair companies, industrial processing plants, refineries and many others.
We are seeking a talented individual that is experienced in Fabrication ShopEquipment Repair and Maintenance to work in our 60,000 sq. ft. fabrication facility.
Skills Required:
- 3 years previous experience with maintenance and upkeep of industrial equipment, which includes checking and changing equipment fluids, oils and filters based on manufacturers maintenance schedules.
- 3 years previous experience diagnosing and/or repairing Fabrication Shop Equipment, which can include Mills, Lathes, saws, press brake equipment, welding equipment, grinders, and deburring equipment, etc.
- Shop housekeeping.
All new hires must provide identification to verify eligibility to work in the U.S., pass a pre-employment medical exam which includes a drug screening and physical abilities assessment.
We offer an excellent benefit package including paid time off & holidays, a 401(k) profit sharing plan, as well as health, dental, and life insurance. However, we seek San Francisco Bay Area candidates no relocation benefits will be offered. Salary range is $22-$35 per hour DOE.
