Overview:
Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has an Equipment Installation Specialistopportunity available in Loma Linda!

The Equipment Installation Specialist will be responsible for the timely and quality installation of various dispensing equipment and wall accessories. Equipment Installation Specialists also calibrate equipment components and replace defective parts as necessary. They conduct needed maintenance and/or repairs to ensure that the dispensing equipment and wall accessories are functioning properly throughout the lifecycle of the equipment installed. An Equipment Installation Specialist keeps a record of work and ensures instructional manuals are delivered to customers where needed. They ensure all necessary delivery and invoice documents are completed and routed to the appropriate internal departments. An Equipment Installation Specialist understands the proper use of tools, installation methods and placement of equipment to avoid damage of materials and/or property at a customer’s location.

Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Install wall accessories and dispensing equipment such as toilet paper dispensers, sanitary product dispensers, hand soap dispensers, dilution control systems, etc.
  • Act as a project planner and liaison of internal supplies and resources for all installation projects. Ensure inventory ready for delivery at time of scheduled installation.
  • Assist Manager in developing resource plan, budget, and schedule for installations.
  • Arrive at installation site on time and prepare with necessary tools and inventory.
  • Conduct site-walk and pre plan installation area / locations with the customer.
  • Remove previous wall accessories where required.
  • Provide customers with verbal and written operating instructions.
  • Maintain a clean work site during and after the job is complete.
  • Manage all necessary documents including proper distribution to internal departments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about company equipment and their technical and functional characteristics.
  • Make equipment demonstrations to clients sharing benefits and features where required.
  • Review, recommend, manage, and secure necessary tools required for job duties.
  • Maintain the work vehicle as required for commercial operations.
  • Pick and deliver orders to customers as required by your manager.
  • As a representative of the Company, follow all policies and safety guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:
You have:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with hand and power tools experience a plus
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Clean driving record (MVR).
  • Ability to navigate directions and read maps.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to independently lift 50 lbs.
  • Previous exposure to warehouse environment a plus, but not required.
  • Able to follow directions accurately and taking accurate measurements
Salary: $22.00-$25.00/Hour
Hours/Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 am until finished.
