Equine Trainer & Caretaker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Equine Caretaker to do ground work exercises with 2 horses located off of Wagener Rd in Aiken SC. As a Western style Horse Trainer & Caretaker, you will be responsible continuing the exercise and western style horse training of 2 horses. You will brush and maintain the horses grooming 3-4 days per week. 2-4 hours per day. Part-time. Flexible schedule. You would be required to make your own schedule and work without supervision.

(There is no housing available at this location.)

```Responsibilities:```
- Provide daily care and maintenance for animals, including, grooming, ground exercising and training them to for western style riding. Cleaning their hooves, manes, tails. Regular brushing and occasional washing of horses.
-administer medications or supplements when necessary
```Requirements:```
- Experience in animal handling and animal husbandry practices
- Knowledge of equine care, Must also have previous horse training education, such as the Parelli horse training education, or equivalent. References will be required from other clients.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $23.18 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
