JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Epic Clinical Documentation Resource to join our team for an exciting Patient Monitoring project. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Epic Clinical Documentation and have a proven track record of successful device integration, particularly with Capsule and MindRay technologies. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration of Patient Monitoring devices within the Epic EHR environment, optimizing clinical workflows, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities:
Epic Clinical Documentation:
- Leverage expertise in Epic Clinical Documentation to design, build, and optimize templates and workflows tailored to Patient Monitoring requirements.
- Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to understand clinical documentation needs and ensure alignment with best practices.
Device Integration:
- Lead the integration of Patient Monitoring devices, specifically Capsule and MindRay, into the Epic EHR environment.
- Work closely with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to device integration, ensuring seamless connectivity and data accuracy.
Workflow Optimization:
- Analyze and optimize clinical workflows within Epic to enhance efficiency and usability in conjunction with Patient Monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with clinicians and other relevant stakeholders to implement workflow improvements and address usability concerns.
Training and Support:
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users, ensuring proficiency in using Epic Clinical Documentation for Patient Monitoring purposes.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to end-users, addressing queries and facilitating continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with Epic guidelines and best practices in clinical documentation and device integration.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to perform audits and reviews to maintain documentation accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Nursing, or a related field.
- Epic Clinical Documentation certification is required.
- Proven experience in implementing and optimizing Epic Clinical Documentation for Patient Monitoring Projects.
- Expertise in device integration, particularly with Capsule and MindRay technologies.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to device integration and clinical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional Epic certifications related to Patient Monitoring or related modules.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
