Description:Responsibilities
- Managing PHI in a HIPAA compliant manner.
- Managing a variety of support requests in a timely manner.
- Resolve low level requests upon initial contact.
- Notify and escalate issues to appropriate application analysts or other team members in a timely manner.
- Collaborate directly with the Epic application analysts and leadership team during regularly scheduled meetings.
- HIM Support
- Manage patient duplicate patient WQs and impacted downstream systems.
- Complete low level chart corrections and escalate corrections to the HIM Analyst as necessary.
- Manage requests for new or existing SmartTexts.
- Monitor and resolve errors on the interface WQs.
- Work with the securities team to monitor Provider (SER) requests and enter required, application specific data.
- Managing Tickets
- Monitor tickets and complete low level application support requests.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
- Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people and be professional when communicating both inside and outside the organization.
- Ability to work well under pressure and on concurrent, multidisciplinary tasks.
- Experienced in a variety of technical areas.
- A special focus on Epic and other healthcare-focused applications is a plus.
Must have Epic My Chart Certification to be considered for this position!
