DTI has an immediate need for aClarity Data Analyst(who would focus on revenue cycles) for a 6 month contract in Chicago, Il.
Seeking an Epic Clarity Data Analyst with a focus on revenue cycle to leverage
healthcare data and convert it into meaningful information that can be utilized to make sound business decisions. The role will involve collaborating directly with data scientists, software engineers, EHR teams, clinical & operational teams, and senior leadership to provide insights and oversee data analysis within revenue cycle projects. This role will identify and develop requirements, project design, and execution to enhance the value and cost-effectiveness of outcomes within revenue cycle operations.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Extract, transform, and analyze healthcare data related to revenue cycle operations.
2. Create and communicate data analysis reports and visualizations to stakeholders.
3. Oversee and contribute to the development of Epic Clarity reports.
4. Identify opportunities in revenue cycle workflows through user observation, data
analysis, and experimentation.
5. Ensure data-driven solutions are addressing measurable problems.
6. Collaborate with IT staff, clinicians, and faculty to integrate advanced technology and
protocols into operational outcomes.
7. Conduct hands-on analysis and statistical forecasting to refine and guide revenue cycle
informatics, design, and workflow.
8. Run usability tests and adapt designs accordingly to ensure a satisfactory user
experience.
9. Create strategy documents, data dictionaries, and other project documents as needed.
10. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure the user experience and informatic
foundation is carried through the design and development of digital and health system
solutions.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. Bachelor of Science degree
2. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with 2 years of that experience tied to data
analysis within the healthcare setting.
3. Proficiency in Epic Clarity reporting and revenue cycle modules.
4. Competent in SQL, Python or R
5. Strong grasp of analytic and statistical methods.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
1. Knowledge and application of project management disciplines in a complex
environment.
2. Experience observing stakeholders and workflows to learn about underlying problems
and potential solutions.
3. Clinical experience in the inpatient or outpatient setting.
4. Experience in facilitating, leading, and influencing large interdisciplinary project teams.
5. Experience with Agile Development methods and tools.
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
7. Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical abilities.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
1. Epic Clarity Data Model certification
Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
1. Epic Revenue Cycle certification
2. Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) certification.
