Job Purpose: Assist the Technical Director with all functions of the Technical Department and additional Quality Assurance (QA) Department tasks
Work Setting/Circumstances:
Includes the following:

▪ Being exact or highly accurate in executing work
▪ Requires meeting strict deadlines
▪ Working overtime when necessary
▪Coordinating or leading others in accomplishing work activities
Work Activities & Tasks
Includes the following:
- Use computers to enter, access or retrieve data.
- Check source data to verify completeness and accuracy.
- Responsible for the creation and troubleshooting of all client requested Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs).
- Maintain all client EDD specifications under the direction of the Technical Director.
- Maintain electronic records, reports, or files with respect to scanning, posting, and tracking all SOP sign off forms, Demonstration of Capabilities (DOCs), and logbooks.
- Schedules, tracks, and provides preliminary document review for Demonstration of Capability (DOC) studies.
§ Meet with all new employees (weekly) and follow their training progress first 90 days.
§ Make plans with Manager/Supervisor to move forward on next phase of training after 90
days.
- Maintain all laboratory position descriptions and training requirements.
- Participate in internal auditing of procedures under the direction of the Technical Director/Quality Assurance Manager.
- Assists the Technical Director with day-to-day functions of the Technical Department as needed.
- Assists the QA Manager with assigned tasks as needed.
- Assists with maintaining, updating, modifying, issuing, collecting, tracking, retiring and scanning laboratory logbooks, checklists and assorted records.
- Assists with routine checks, maintenance and calibrations of various laboratory controls and records including but not limited to pipettors, balances, weights, thermometers, conductivity meters, and temperatures.
- Evaluating Information to Determine Compliance with Environmental Standards and Regulations.
