Job Description Assists technologists/physicians with related modality procedures. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Experience

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in patient care radiology
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification Summary
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Job Responsibilities
Provides assistance in maintaining smooth operations and patient flow.
Burns and/or upload CDs as needed.
Supplies information in the electronic medical record accurately while providing clerical support if needed.
Performs patient transportation needs for the department.
Demonstrates competencies that incorporate age-specific guidelines, including N = Neonate (less than 30 days), I = Infant (30 days to 1 year), EC = Early Childhood (1-5 years), LC = Late Childhood (5-13 years), A = Adolescent (13-17 years), AD = Adult, and ALL = all ages.
Includes family/caregiver in patient care and provides effective education appropriate for learning needs of patient and family as pertains to their role.
Attends all required system and department educational opportunities.
Maintains work area in a neat and orderly fashion at all times, keeping radiographic rooms stocked with needed supplies, checking expiration dates on a daily basis, and reporting supply shortages to management.
