ABOUT THE JOB
Tepa Companies is seeking As an Environmental Specialist to collaborate with Senior Scientists, Project Managers, and Technical Experts on a wide variety of environmental investigation, restoration, and compliance projects including environmental assessments, environmental impact statements, environmental sampling and reporting, and site characterization
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist Project Managers from inception to completion, including data collection, project documentation, field sampling, site assessment activities, project report deliverables, and administrative tasks.
- Performs environmental site visits and field studies including visual site inspections.
- Assists Project Managers with ensuring quality control and assurance.
- Performs all duties with the highest possible degree of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Reviews project documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Supports reports for assessing functional and technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory guidance.
- Assists Project Managers to plan, schedule, and manage project timelines to see all deadlines are met.
- Contributes to all team efforts by taking ownership of assigned tasks and duties and is fully transparent and accountable for the successful performance of assigned tasks.
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Geology, Hydrology, Biology, or related field required.
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
- One (1) internship completed in relevant field
- Must be able to travel up to 80%
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet multiple schedule deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
