The successful candidate should have experience coordinating with clients, leading data collection following standards dictated by state and federal agencies, and leading delivery of various reports, including regulatory permit applications. In addition to project delivery responsibilities, candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage personnel, budgets, schedules, sub consultants, and client interactions. The candidate will also work closely with the area operations manager and practice leaders in business development activities, when needed.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in biology, environmental science, natural resources management, or related field; Master's Degree preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in collection and preparation of information as it pertains to the local, state, and federal regulation of natural resources
- Experience performing wetland delineations, threatened and endangered assessments, impacts analysis, and permitting for waters of the U.S.
- Provide support to multi-disciplinary teams in delivering solutions to clients
- Knowledge of relevant aspects of transportation, water resources, and land development projects
- Excellent research, analytical, and written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with GPS data collection, ArcGIS analyses, and/or CADD
- Positive attitude, initiative, and ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability and willingness to travel, as needed
- Ability to carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds
