Responsibilities
Idaho National Laboratory is seeking Environmental Regulatory Compliance Analysts to join the Project & Program Support Team. This posting is for two separate positions, one at the Advanced Test Reactor facility (ATR) and other for the Facilities Site Services (F&SS) organization. These two positions are responsible for ensuring that Environmental policies, standards, procedures, and mandatory requirements are planned, scheduled, implemented, and executed in the day-to-day operations. For the F&SS position this includes construction projects and site wide facility operations. Personnel will represent their respective organization in environmental matters within their jurisdiction and will coordinate compliance functions. Additionally the F&SS position provides oversight to all construction subcontractors and most service subcontractors. Specifically, these positions support customers by preparing or reviewing documents including environmental checklists, air permitting applicability determinations, and work planning documentation and various other company related documents to ensure implementation of environmental requirements with the goal of proactively identifying creative environmental compliance strategies. In these positions personnel may also be called upon to develop and maintain company environmental requirements. These positions requires individuals to have in-depth knowledge of the environmental regulations, and they will be expected to interface with all levels of the organization including management. Each of the positions will support the implementation of ISO 14001 and other critical company objectives, and ensure work is conducted in a safe and efficient manner. The personnel in each of these positions must have the ability to reinforce high standards and expectations.

 

Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education and/or Experience):
PR0100: BS Degree in a related field, preferably in a science or engineer.
PR0200: BS Degree in a related field, preferably in science or engineering plus 2 yrs. experience or an MS Degree with 1 year of experience.
 
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE L security clearance.
 
Selective Service Requirements
To be eligible for employment at INL males between ages 18 and 25 must register (or must have registered) with the Selective Service System (SSS). This includes U.S. born and naturalized citizens, parolees, undocumented immigrants, legal permanent residents, asylum seekers, refugees, and all males with visas of any kind which expired more than 30 days ago.
