Environmental Onsite Supervisor

Wastebits is looking to staff an onsite Supervisor for our customer Sustainability Solutions and ESG initiatives.

• Provide services for onsite Customers by coordinating the collection of site waste.
• Assist Supervisor, in coordinating activities of 1 warehouse employee.
• Operate baler, forklift, or other onsite industrial power equipment.
• Ensures compliance with all state and Federal labeling and shipping laws and regulations on waste shipped from customer sites.
• Assists in the recruitment and hiring of warehouse personnel; provides orientation and training in the proper methods for performing waste management duties.
• Recommends new methods and procedures in waste management activities.

What You'll Need:

• Working knowledge of EHS practices including the ability to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects.
• Provide direction on EHS improvments by analizing problems and suggesting recomendations to reduce liability and costs.
• The ability to identify hazordus materials and chemicals in a manufacturing setting.
• Must be able to work under Company and Customer policies where experience and independent judgment are needed.
• Should be familiar with the office paper flow, operations of each department, particular products and their handling problems, and knowledge of all departments within the manufacturing plant.
• Must be able to work with others through out the operation and within the company.
• Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to company procedures and governmental regulations.
• Self-starter and motivated.
• Ability to lead teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• High School Diploma or GED with additional schooling or equivalent business experience.
• Experience in waste management preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
