With operations currently in California, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, Metiri’s objective is to provide full-service Environmental Laboratory services and solutions with the highest caliber service experience.
Our organization is primed for rapid growth and we’re looking for a Login Technician to join our dynamic and growing team.
JOB DUTIES
- Organizing incoming and outgoing samples while maintaining updated records
- Inputting sample information into database system and ensuring accuracy
- Frequent interactions with a variety of chemists and/or scientists regarding samples
- Aiding in the upkeep in sampling equipment to ensure it is in proper working order
- Following and maintaining ethical sample storage and disposal procedures
- Greeting and assisting walk-in customers
- Occasionally may be required to drive to a local customer location
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Able to effectively read, understand and communicate information, as well as find application and value from new knowledge
- Able to maintain a high level of accuracy and clarity in reviewing documents and entering information into a database
- Communicate with clients regarding requests
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills to handle competing priorities and deadlines
- Provide communications regarding sample information to the laboratory departments
- Able to work in an open office environment with numerous interruptions
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record
- Able to push/pull, as well as lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Punctual and reliable attendance
