Job Description
Position Overview
The EHS Systems Manager will have oversight and support the management of an EHS Management Information System (SMIS), In-cab technology and DOT compliance services on a company-wide level. This manager will provide day-to-day Safety Systems management support and assistance to field management.
This position will report directly to the Director of EHS and will maintain a strong customer relationship with the EHS and Operations organization with collaboration between the Fleet, Communications, Human Resources and Technology departments.
Responsibilities
Partner with vendors to assist in ensuring effective utilization of the EHS systems and serve as the primary systems administrator.

  • Perform day-to-day maintenance of the EHS MIS system, including identifying and troubleshooting application issues and escalating issues to software consultants/provider, as needed.
  • Develop process to monitor and communicate utilization and impact of EHS systems.
  • Communicate with leadership regarding system maintenance status and upkeep.
  • Create and distribute user communications, related to new system functionality and enhancements.
  • Obtain user feedback and track system enhancement/change requests.
  • Collect feedback from product users to build next generation safety tools.
  • EHS Systems champion: responsible for the training and technical resource for in-cab technology and SMIS.
  • Develop and distribute JIT training and communications based upon real time safety risk identification.
  • Produce and communicate across internal business teams and to leadership to ensure alignment of goals and tasks to ensure the overall success of the program.
  • Oversee and update content on EHS Portal and monthly communications. Develop and maintain standard documentation for Commercial Team's use when completing contractor prequalify.
  • Partner with IT team on interfaces between EHS systems and TG systems.
  • Develop process and manage safety recognition program.
  • Develop and oversee collision video retention process.
  • Ensure systems align for accuracy of collision analysis.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • 2+ years' Experience with in-cab technologies targeted at improving driver safety.
  • 2+ years' Experience with safety software system application
  • Experience working with or implementing processes and systems.
  • Experience interpreting safety data and metrics to drive results.
  • Experience developing and providing virtual training.
  • Has a working knowledge of EHS & compliance functions.

  • Effectively facilitate conflict resolutions with internal customers and vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically.
  • Strong MS Office skills, Cognos is a plus.

Pay Ranges
$54,983.00 - $91,638.00
This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
