If you enjoy building effective relationships on the production floor while driving the EH&S culture by providing information and advice to plant management on matters relating to safe operations, this position is for you! You will have a lot of interaction will all levels in the facility pertaining to EHS issues and training. This Environmental Health & Safety Manager will promote a high-energy and process improvement atmosphere for safety.

To be successful as the EHS Manager, you’ll need to have a demonstrated background in safety. Must have knowledge of OSHA regulations, accident rate reduction, workers compensation case management, safety training, lockout/tag out, Storm Water Pollution Programs, Hazardous Waste Management. Work heavily on improving EHS programs for a plant.

Minimum requirements for this EHS Manager position:

• BS Degree in safety, Environmental science, or related discipline
• At least 3 years’ of experience working in a leadership EH&S position in a manufacturing plant
• Food manufacturing experience a plus but not required!
• Excellent communication skills.
