Environmental Geologist/Technician

Gabriel Environmental Services is seeking an Environmental geologist/technician. Bachelor's degree in environmental or scientific field required, or two year's experience. Job activities may include: soil and groundwater sampling, installing groundwater monitoring wells, conducting hydrogeological investigation using slug testing and water level measurements, writing site investigation reports, preparing soil boring logs and maps, and organizing data. As skills advance, job may include writing Closure Reports for IEPA. Must have proficiency with Word and Excel. Knowledge of the IEPA Leaking Underground Storage Tank regulations and/or experience with a soil boring crew a plus. Position requires some local travel to client sites so a valid driver's license is necessary.
