Summary
Lobo Services is seeking an skilled Equipment Operator with experience in operating heavy equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks such as digging trenches, grading land, and moving materials. They will work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Work efficiently and safely outdoors with a crew showing good leadership and management skills.
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, and Skid Steers
- Perform tasks such as digging trenches, digging around buried utilities, grading land, and moving materials
- Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment is operated in a safe and efficient manner
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to project plans and blueprints to meet project requirements
- Ability to hold a driver license in good standing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment
- Proficient in the operation of various types of equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, and skid steers
- Knowledge of construction processes and techniques
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to heavy equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Experience with tanker operations, horizontal drilling, paving, Caterpillar equipment, water trucks, dump trucks, or other specific equipment or techniques mentioned in the keywords may be considered an asset.
Education:
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
- Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 60 pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.
- Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
- Field work will be primarily outdoors, exposed to varying weather conditions, and wearing FRC clothing.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Ability to climb towers, ascend ladders and descend stairs.
- Ability to bend, stretch, walk and climb with equipment on various walking surfaces.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
