Responsible for the safe implementation of field calibration services of liquid flow meters in varying customer environments. Takes work direction from a crew leader (Tech II/III/Sr), Shop Supervisor, and Field Crew Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safe work culture. Promote and follow company safety expectations at all times.
- Capable of operating company service truck and trailer in a safe manner following all DOT/HOS regulations
- Capable of being a driver and passenger in a service truck for extended periods of time
- Capable of performing safe hook-up and break down of proving equipment in the field
- Capable of lifting and dragging large diameter hoses on/off of prover equipment, as well as in customer environments.
- Accurately maintain required DOT digital driving logs, as well as paper log if necessary.
- Maintain appropriate team dynamic with a field crew leader
- Execute accurate meter proving session under the direction of a field crew leader
- Engage and work professionally with customers as required to obtain work permits, set-up site for proving or manage loading rack truck sequencing.
- Manage customer required safety training certificates
- Manage inventory of personal protective equipment (PPE) for all jobs and always wear required PPE when performing work.
- Capable of routine vehicle, prover or shop maintenance duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Drivers License required.
- 0-3 years of experience with meter proving or calibration services.
- Additional college or technical school training, certificate or degree desired.
- The employee must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, and be able to safely operate a utility truck pulling a trailer.
- The Individual should have a demonstrated working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows environment, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) software.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
