As a valuable member of our Transportation Business Line, you will work on a variety of transportation projects for our New England clients. You will work out of our Woburn, MA office with an optional hybrid approach to your work location.
Our Transportation Team and Projects
Transportation is essential to our daily lives. Our goal is to help people get where they need to be - smoothly, safely, and quickly. We have nearly 100 professional engineers providing traffic engineering, roadway & bridge design, and transportation planning services to state DOTs as well as regional, municipal, private, and institutional clients throughout the Northeast to reach that goal.
What will you be doing as a Traffic/ Transportation Staff Engineer?
You will play a key role in assisting with a variety of reporting such as traffic impact and parking studies, design, functional design, and design exception. You will also assist with the preparation of contract documents, bid documents, technical specifications, and quantity/cost estimates. Some of your projects would also include construction observations/inspection of various traffic, parking, and roadway improvements for our clients.
What do you need as a Traffic/ Transportation Staff Engineer?
You will need a BS degree in Civil Engineering. Having a MS degree, experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation would be a plus. It would be helpful to have experience with roadway and/or site design as well as development of construction drawings.
